видеосопровождение к расширенной «концертной» версии EP06 – «сюиты» или секвенции, созданной PSVSV в 2006 г.:

для ##1-4 звук взят непосредственно с мини-альбома EP06, для ##5-10 – с одной из ноябрьских репетиций 2006 г.

## 1-5, 8 и 10, собственно, и составляют «сюиту», однако в концертном варианте многие её элементы (за исключением ## 2-4) были дополнены или модифицированы, причём наиболее существенные трансформации претерпел #10 – . [aka “The End”].

#6 – это старая вещь ¦¦O, более известная как hit single, #7 – безымянный спейсфанк, #9 – также игравшаяся ранее вживую «Траектория».

видеоряд, равно как и сама «сюита», изначально предполагал линейное ознакомление, теперь же, поскольку секвенция разбита на части, можно экспериментировать и с нелинейным просмотром.

в концертном видео использован как материал, создававшийся специально для EP06, так и фрагменты ряда других, в т.ч. более старых «фильмов»: NON BENE JUNCTARUM DISCORDIA SEMINA RERUM, TV/TXT, Dead on Air, txt/murder, Liquid TV, Ekpyroptike, All Things Are Liquid, Non—Lieu (здесь не место), и, наверное, каких-нибудь ещё.

 

видео к #6 посвящено жертвоприношению – здесь, в частности, фигурируют взволновавшие в своё время ум Батая фотографии китайской казни линчи («Расчленение на 1000 кусочков»), а также кусочек портрета Гегеля работы Якоба Шлезингера (всё это также встречается в #7).

в ## 8 и 10 использованы переработанные фрагменты фильма «Андалузский пёс» Луиса Бунюэля и Сальвадора Дали, где-то встречаются также обрывки «Антракта» Рене Клера, «Механического балета» Фернана Леже, Дьюдли Мерфи и Мэна Рэя и ещё масса других заимствований – всего уже не припомню.

в целом видеоряд повествует о невозможности видеть, о слепоте и ослеплении, и концентрируется вокруг трёх фигур: лицо, образ и текст.

каждой из этих фигур присуще ослепление своего рода.

video accompaniment for the extended “live” version of EP06 – a “suite” or sequence created by PSVSV in 2006.

for ##1-4 sound was taken directly from the mini-album EP06, for ##5-10 – from one of the rehearsals of November 2006.

the “suite” actually consists of ## 1-5, 8 & 10, though in live variant many of its elements (excluding ## 2-4) were complemented or modified, and #10 – . [aka “The End”] has underwent the most essential changes at that.

#6 is an old thing ¦¦O, better known as hit single, #7 is a nameless space-funk, #9 has been also performed earlier live as Trajectory.

the video, as well as the “suite” itself, was initially intended for linear acquaintance, but now, as the sequence has been divided into parts, one may also experiment with non-linear watch.

the “live” video accompaniment uses the material that was created specially for EP06, as well as the fragments of some other “films”, including those that were made earlier – such as NON BENE JUNCTARUM DISCORDIA SEMINA RERUM, TV/TXT, Dead on Air, txt/murder, Liquid TV, Ekpyroptike, All Things Are Liquid, Non-Lieu (Here Is No Place), and maybe some more.

 

 

the video for #6 is dedicated to sacrifice – here, inter alia, the photographs of a Chinese execution Leng T’che (“slow slicing”) appear (those that once have disturbed the mind of Georges Bataille) – and also a slice of Hegel’s portrait by Jakob Schlesinger (all this also figures in #7).

in ## 8 and 10 the re-worked fragments of Un chien Andalou by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí were used, somewhere else there are also scraps of Entr’acte by René Clair, Ballet Mécanique by Fernand Léger, Dudley Murphy and Man Ray, and many other borrowings – I don’t remember everything.

this video in whole relates the impossibility of vision, dazzle and blindness, and concentrates on three figures: face, image and text.

each of these figures possesses its proper blindness.
